Opened in May 2012, Palas Iași is the newest and largest commercial centre in Iași and in Moldavia Region. It is part of Iulius Group, which also owns shopping centres in Iaşi, Timişoara, Cluj-Napoca and Suceava. Palas Iași is situated in the heart of the city, located next to the Palace of Culture. The complex is built as a city inside the city, integrating areas for retail, parking, offices, leisure and even a residential area.
