Valahia Restaurant is a Romanian traditional restaurant in Timișoara, welcoming its guests in a charming, colourful setting. This oasis of privacy and comfort offers its guests a menu including the best, freshest and most sophisticated ingredients, perfectly combined in order to create the authentic Romanian dish. The high gastronomic and aesthetic quality of the food, the flexibility in mixing various courses for a unique meal and the good value for money are only some of the reasons why Valahia Restaurant is one of the first options of those in search on a genuine traditional experience.

The restaurant’s menu includes both Romanian and international dishes, from cold and hot starters to soups, main courses and lip-licking desserts. We recommend you to start your meal with some traditional mashed beans with onions and tripe soup with sour cream. For the main course, we would go for the “Tochitură haiducească”, rich in pork, chicken and beef, tomatoes, red pepper, onions and mămăligă. If you come with your family and friends or in groups, good choices are also the Platters from Banat for two or four people. All the desserts in the menu are mouth-watering, but the chestnuts puree with cream is definitely our first pick.

Children-friendly and suitable for business lunches and romantic dinners, the restaurant also hosts private events, such as wedding and baptism parties, birthday celebrations and corporate cocktails. Seating up to 400 guests, Valahia Restaurant is always ready to receive its guests in an authentic Romanian space.
