The Aquarium in Constanţa, inaugurated in 1958, is the first public aquarium in Romania. It is situated on the waterfront, very close to the Casino.

The Aquarium in Constanţa, inaugurated in 1958, is the first public aquarium in Romania. It is situated on the waterfront, very close to the Casino. The Aquarium, belonging to the Natural Sciences Museum Complex, hosts a rich aquatic fauna consisting of exotic and native fish, species from the Black Sea coast, as well as migratory species from the Mediterranean Sea. The exhibition is structured into three sectors: the marine section, the fresh water section and the exotic fish section, the latter being very appreciated especially by the young public.

Monday – Friday: 9:00 – 16:00

Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 – 17:00

Adults: 10 lei

Pupils, students: 5 lei
