With its old-style, relaxed atmosphere, Café Verona is one of the most pleasant cafés in Bucharest. Access to the café and the garden-terrace is made through Cărtureşti Verona book store, which contributes to the overall air of “intellectual corner” of this intimate venue.

Café, tea house, terrace, garden, library and winoteque, these are the numerous faces of Café Verona. You can come here for a flavoured coffee, a local or international wine, fruit lemonade, beer, cocktail, syrup, tea, croissants and cookies. Recently, this urban garden has enlarged its menu to include less light dishes, such as salads, pasta, sandwiches, cheese plates and desserts. The “all you can eat” lunch will give you the chance to taste various soups, main dishes, side dishes and salads for less than 5 euro.

Being a popular venue and benefiting from a large space (100 seats indoors, 500 seats on the terrace), the service might be slow at times. However, this will give you the chance to admire the minimalist design and the paintings inside the café or to enjoy the magic air of the terrace, with its green lawn and comfortable chairs and hammocks.

Café Verona often hosts public and private events, such as parties, book launches, workshops, press conferences, seminars, film projections, theatre plays and concerts. Those who enjoy artistic manifestations and live music will not miss the chance to escape from the noise of the city in this realm of jazz and lounge rhythms.

Opening Hours:

Monday – Friday: 10:00 – 24:00

Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 – 24:00

In order to meet the modern needs of its guests, Café Verona offers wireless internet access throughout the venue, as well as separate spaces for smokers and non-smokers.
